I hope you keep writing, Arthur! Your Substack posts, along with your most recent book, have helped me wade through all the muck since the country decided to push itself off a cliff last November. It may be very dark and hopeless out here, but little nuggets like your posts help brighten our days every so often.
My most recent book is such a sore point with me. Hardly any review attention and then Trump walked away with the election. As I read on Truth Social, it was an "Unprecedented and Powerful Mandate" in which he "Obliterated" (I don't think he used that exact word back then, but it's certainly gotten a lot of use this week) Harris and the anti-American left. If my book had been a TV show, Trump could have gone on and on about how dismal its Nielsen ratings were. Every time someone tells me they read it or even heard about it, it makes me feel a tiny bit better--like maybe I planted a mustard seed or something. Like I said, I take my hope wherever I can find it.
